Dear Members and Friends,

After much prayer, thoughtful reflection, and unity with our team, we are writing to share that Dane County Community Purse will be concluding its gatherings effective today.

What began in August 2021, five years ago, has grown into a beautiful legacy of faith, fellowship, generosity, and community. By God’s grace, the impact we have shared together over these five years has been remarkable:

• 60 nonprofit organizations have been blessed, along with countless new relationships and connections throughout Dane County.

• A total of $70,445 has been given to Dane County nonprofits over the past 5 years! We reached our goal!

• Generations have come together, with an average of 24 dedicated women of all ages participating in our mission of generosity.

• A recap of generous donations received in August 2026: $2800 was sent to WI Council of the Blind and Visually Impaired, Oregon Straw Hat Players received $775, and Mercy Dental Missions was given $1275 for a total of $4850.  Praise the Lord!

These numbers tell only part of the story. Behind every gift was a heart willing to give. Behind every gathering were conversations, friendships, prayers, encouragement, and a shared desire to make a difference in our community. What a gift it has been to walk this journey together.

We are especially grateful for the wonderful team the Lord provided throughout these years. Each person brought her own gifts, faithfulness, and heart for service, and we are deeply thankful for the time and energy they poured into Community Purse.

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to The Nitty Gritty – Sun Prairie and Thrivent for their generous donations and hospitality over the years. Their support helped make our gatherings and mission possible, and we are truly grateful.

Most of all, thank you to you—our members and friends. Thank you for showing up, giving generously, sharing your stories, welcoming others, and believing that together we could make a difference. You have been a vital part of this beautiful chapter.

While this particular chapter is coming to an end, we trust that the spirit of generosity God has nurtured among us will continue. We know generous givers like you will continue to find meaningful ways to bless individuals, organizations, and communities throughout Dane County and beyond.

We leave this chapter with full hearts and deep gratitude for all that God has done through Dane County Community Purse. It has been a privilege and a blessing to serve alongside you.
